In May of this year, President Xi Jinping made a state visit to France, Serbia, and Hungary at the invitation of these countries. During this visit, multiple consensuses were reached to further strengthen strategic alignment, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, promote collaboration in infrastructure, new energy, artificial intelligence, and expand personnel exchanges in various sectors, injecting new momentum into the high-quality co-construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

To deeply implement the consensuses reached during President Xi's visit to France, Serbia, and Hungary, and to promote the transformation of relevant achievements, we plan to invite young scientists and technologists from France, Serbia, and Hungary to China for academic sharing, experience exchange, interdisciplinary cooperation, and field visits. They will participate in the International Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Cooperation Forum of the World Young Scientist Summit, scheduled for mid-November 2024, to discuss how countries along the "Belt and Road" can promote high-quality development, accelerate the development of new productive forces, and engage in other series of activities of the Young Science Conference. The discussions will focus on global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity, food security, public health, and digital governance, bringing more opportunities for win-win cooperation to countries along the "Belt and Road" and beyond.

I. Project Content
Since 2019, the World Young Scientist Summit (hereinafter referred to as "Youth Science Conference") has successfully held five sessions, focusing on the theme of "Gathering Global Talents to Create a Better Future." It has established an open exchange platform, consolidating technological innovation forces and advantageous resources, supporting young scientists to take the lead and play a central role, and promoting cooperation between young scientists from various countries, as well as between scientists and entrepreneurs, for mutual benefit. The main event of the 2024 Youth Science Conference is planned for mid-November 2024, with the annual theme being "Youth Innovation Shaping New Productive Forces." Through this exchange program and the synergistic benefits of the Youth Science Conference, we aim to promote deep cooperation among young scientists and technologists from China and Europe, build consensus on "Technology for Good," and contribute the wisdom and strength of young scientists to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

II. Project Implementation Methods
1. Organize an International Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Cooperation Forum, inviting young scientists and technologists from France, Serbia, and Hungary to participate. The forum will focus on the opportunities and challenges faced by global young scientists in the integration of technology and economy, sharing successful cases and experiences in innovation and entrepreneurship services, and facilitating direct dialogue and cooperation between domestic and international experts and young scientists, sharing the latest research findings and discussing hot scientific and technological issues, allowing more international young scientists to voice their opinions and publish cooperation consensus, reports, and forum outcomes.

2. Invite young scientists and technologists from France, Serbia, and Hungary to participate in the plenary session, thematic forums, Youth Science Expo, and various social and cultural activities of the 2024 Youth Science Conference, exchanging and sharing on topics such as sustainable development, new productive forces, and youth and technological innovation.

3. Conduct field visits and Chinese cultural experience activities, exploring relevant universities, research institutions, or enterprises to deeply experience the local scientific and popular science atmosphere and cultural customs, promoting cultural mutual learning and understanding.

 IV. Project Scale
We plan to invite approximately 30 young scientists and technologists from France, Serbia, and Hungary. The young scientists and technologists referred to here are those specifically coming from these three countries to participate in the activities in China (full-time researchers from universities, research institutions, or enterprises, including postdoctoral researchers, aged 45 and below). The ideological review of the invited personnel, activity arrangements, and reception will be the responsibility of the inviting organization.
