DEADLINE EXTENDED! APPLY BY AUGUST 31 FOR THE 2025 YOUNG SCIENTIST SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AWARD


Are you a young scientist driving breakthroughs in sustainability — advancing clean energy, health or climate solutions? Don't miss out! The deadline for the 2025 Young Scientist SDGs Award has been officially extended to Aug. 31, 2025 (23:59 Beijing Time). Now is your time to shine in creating a better, more sustainable future! ​

This prestigious award, co-initiated by the World Association of Young Scientists, the Wenzhou Growth Foundation for Young Scientist, and Global SDGs leadership Development Centre, honors outstanding young scientists — born on or after Jan. 1, 1980 — whose groundbreaking research or technological innovations significantly advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Focus areas include: SDG3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG13 (Climate Action), SDG14 (Life Below Water), SDG15 (Life on Land), and SDG Interaction (Multiple SDGs).

Awards and Benefits

Up to 5 awardees will each receive: ​​
