Wenzhou Growth Foundation for World Young Scientists

Wenzhou Growth Foundation for World Young Scientist was established to transition the World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) from being government-led to government-guided and socially organized, ensuring its sustainable development. It also aims to support the implementation of WYSS awards and the World Association of Young Scientists. The foundation was initiated and promoted by the WYSS Executive Committee Office and officially registered on October 20, 2021. It was jointly founded by academician Li Xiaokun, President of Wenzhou Medical University, along with Qingshan Holding, Chint Group, and Semir Group. The initial fund amounts to 60 million RMB, with a registered capital of 30 million RMB. The foundation’s mission is to promote international scientific and cultural exchange, foster youth development, and drive global cooperation in scientific and technological innovation.
